Common questions
Do I own my website?
Yes. When your site is finished, I transfer it to your own Wix account. You own the site, your content, and your domain. If you keep the Care Plan or Monthly Plan, I keep editor access so I can make your changes. You can remove my access at any time.
What do I pay Wix, and why?
Wix hosts your website. You pay Wix directly for a website plan and your domain name, the same as any Wix customer. Those costs are separate from what you pay me. Current prices are at wix.com/plans, and I'll help you pick the right plan.
How long does it take?
About 7 days from the day I have everything I need from you: your intake form, logo, and photos. The clock starts when your content is in, not when you check out. Rush delivery in about 3 days is available for $200.
What if all 5 spots are gone?
Join the waitlist. Spots reopen on the 1st of every month, and waitlist members are emailed first.
What do I need to send you?
Your business name, services, service area, phone and email, your logo if you have one, and photos of your work. Videos and customer reviews are a big plus. The intake form walks you through all of it.
Do you write the words on my site?
Yes, on Standard and above. I write it from what you tell me, and you approve everything before it goes live. I never claim licenses, insurance, awards, or years in business unless you give them to me.
Can I make changes myself later?
Yes. It's your Wix account, so you can edit anything yourself. Or keep the Care Plan and I'll handle small changes for you.
How does the Monthly Plan work?
You pay $398 today ($299 setup plus your first $99 month), then $99 is charged automatically to your card every month for 11 more months. That's 12 monthly payments and $1,487 in total. After your 12th payment, the plan ends automatically and you won't be charged again. Want monthly edits after that? Add the $79 Care Plan.
Does the 30-day money-back promise cover websites?
That promise is for my templates and digital tools. Websites are custom work, so they have their own refund terms, listed below under "The fine print."
Terms for Done-For-You Websites
By purchasing a Done-For-You Website package, you agree to these terms.
What's included
- The pages, features, and rounds of changes listed in your package.
- A "round of changes" means one list of edits you send me at once after reviewing your preview.
- Work outside your package (extra pages, more rounds of changes, logo design, rush delivery) is an add-on, quoted and approved by you before I do it.
Timeline
- The build takes about 7 days, starting the day I receive your completed intake form and content.
- If I don't receive your intake form and content within 60 days of purchase, your build spot may be moved to a future month.
What you're responsible for
- Sending accurate business information and content you have the right to use (photos, logos, videos, reviews).
- Checking and approving all content before launch, including any licenses, insurance, or certifications listed.
- Paying Wix directly for your website plan and domain.
- Creating a free Wix account and accepting the site transfer invite (it expires after 3 days, but I can resend it).
Ownership
- Once paid, the website and its content are yours and live in your Wix account.
- I may show your finished website in my portfolio unless you ask me not to.
Payments
- One-time packages are paid in full at checkout.
- The Monthly Plan is $398 at checkout ($299 setup plus your first $99 monthly payment), then $99 charged automatically every month for 11 more months, for a total of $1,487. Billing stops automatically after the 12th payment. By choosing the Monthly Plan, you agree to the 12-month commitment.
- The Care Plan is $79 charged automatically every month until you cancel. Cancel anytime before your next billing date.
Refunds and cancellations
- Before your kickoff call: cancel for a full refund.
- After your build has started: payments are not refundable, because the work has begun. If something isn't right, I'll fix it within your package's included changes.
- Leaving the Monthly Plan early: if you cancel before your 12th payment, the remaining payments for the 12 months are still due.
- The 30-day money-back promise on templates and digital tools does not apply to custom website work.
