These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to your use of the Steel Toe Systems online store and every product you buy from us. By placing an order or using our site, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

1. Who we are

Steel Toe Systems ("we," "us," "our") sells digital business tools for the trades: spreadsheet templates, fillable PDF forms, document templates and member resources. You can reach us anytime at hello@steeltoesystems.net or by phone or text at (704) 218-9611.

2. Digital products and delivery

All of our products are digital. Nothing is shipped. After checkout you'll get download links on the order confirmation page and by email. Please download and save your files promptly. If a link doesn't work, email us and we'll resend it.

3. Your license to use our products

When you buy a product, you get a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use it in your own business, including by your employees and crews. You may edit the files, add your logo and print as many copies as your business needs.

You may not resell, share, give away, upload to public sites, or redistribute our files (edited or unedited), or offer them as part of a product or service you sell to others. All rights not granted here stay with Steel Toe Systems.

4. Templates are tools, not professional advice

Our products are general-purpose templates. They are not legal, accounting, tax, financial, insurance or safety advice, and they don't replace a licensed professional. Agreements, waivers and contract templates should be reviewed by a licensed attorney in your state before you use them. Safety checklists don't guarantee compliance with OSHA or any other law or regulation. You are responsible for how you use our products and for checking that your prices, estimates, contracts and practices meet the laws and codes that apply to you.

5. Prices and payment

Prices are listed in U.S. dollars and may change at any time, but a change won't affect an order you've already placed. Payment is processed securely at checkout through Shopify. We may refuse or cancel an order if we suspect fraud or a pricing error, and we'll refund you if we do.

6. Memberships

Crew, Foreman and Owner memberships are subscriptions that renew automatically each billing period at the price shown when you signed up, until you cancel. You can cancel anytime, and cancelling stops your next renewal. You keep access to member resources until the end of the period you've paid for. Member resources are covered by the same license in Section 3. If we change a membership price, we'll notify you before it applies to your next renewal.

7. Refunds

Refunds and fixes are handled under our Refund Policy, including our "It Works" guarantee.

8. Disclaimer

Except for the promises in our Refund Policy, our products and site are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't guarantee that any template will produce a particular business result, profit or outcome.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Steel Toe Systems will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or business, arising from your use of our products or site. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the product the claim relates to.

10. Using our site

Don't misuse the site, including by trying to break its security, copying our content in bulk, or using it for anything unlawful. We may suspend access for anyone who violates these Terms.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when they last changed. Changes apply to orders placed after they're posted.
